Collegiate Shag Module with Meadhbh & Nico

Collegiate Shag is a high energy partnered swing dance which was popular in the 1920s and 1930s.
In this course, we will teach you the basic steps to dance Collegiate Shag with your partner in open, closed and side by side positions. We will teach you fundamental moves including the inside turn, outside turn, butlers turn and tuck turn. We will have fun exploring classic moves and rhythm variations including time breaks and fishtails.
This course is perfect for beginners and those looking for a good option for dancing when the music gets fast!
