In this 8-hour course, we will learn the fun, energetic footwork of 1930s Charleston, focusing on foundational steps and techniques, and build your dance vocabulary with classic Charleston moves like Hand-to-Hand Charleston and Tandem. With expert instruction and upbeat music, you'll master Charleston's basic steps and moves, getting ready to kick up your heels and have a blast in social dancing.
Throughout the course, we'll also work on key concepts of musicality, helping you not just to dance the steps but to connect them to the rhythm and mood of the music.
