In this 6-hours Course, we want students to understand the Swing Outs technique and be able to incorporate the Swing Out in their social dance.
PRE-REQUISITES: Having completed our FUNDAMENTALS course or equivalent. Contact us if in doubt.
What to wear: any clothing that you feel comfortable dancing a bit and sweating. In terms of shoes, no external footwear is allowed in studios at Dance Ireland. Please bring separate shoes that are clean white soled trainers - no converse or street shoes. In doubt, just socks are always an easy comfortable option.
The Swing Out is the most iconic move of Lindy Hop. In this course we break down the Swing Out and get to the nitty gritty of this awesome move. We offer some technical tips and exercises to make sure you're able to include the Swing Out into your Lindy Hop vocabulary effortlessly and comfortably.
This is the course that will get you from beginner steps to swinging 'the hell' out on the dance floor.
