PRE-REQUISITES: You must have completed our Fundamental and Technical Modules, or equivalent. To ensure a smooth and enjoyable class for everyone, you should feel comfortable:
- Social dancing a variety of 8-count and 6-count Lindy Hop and Charleston moves to a medium-high tempo.
- Dancing swing outs comfortably to a medium-high tempo (+180 BPM).

In this class, we’ll explore the concepts of momentum and flow, with a special focus on turns and spins. You’ll learn how to use your body efficiently and harness momentum to make your movement feel smooth and controlled.
We’ll begin with the fundamentals of turns, breaking down technique and connection for both leading and following. From there, we’ll gradually build up to more dynamic and complex movements, such as barrel rolls, pop turns, and other flowing turn combinations.
By understanding how momentum works, and how to generate, maintain, and redirect it, you’ll gain more fluidity in your dancing.
