Musicality Basic Module with Alihan and Elisa
PRE-REQUISITES: You must have completed our FUNDAMENTALS course or equivalent. This course is part of our three Basic Modules: Swing Out, Charleston and Musicality. Contact us if in doubt.
Hop on to a journey with Alihan and Elisa on musicality in Lindy Hop! Jazz music is the biggest inspiration for our dancing. Understanding the music we dance to as well as the values we bring from Jazz music help us become better dancers.
In this course we will have a look at different song structures and concepts in Jazz music, from a dancer perspective. Of course, there will be loads of dancing, both solo and in couples, and you'll lots of time to practice the steps and groves you've recently learnt.
