PRE-REQUISITES: Open-level class. Everyone is welcome! We’ll introduce the basics of Collegiate Shag while offering fun moves and combos for more experienced dancers.

Curious about Collegiate Shag? This high-energy swing dance is known for its quick footwork, playful rhythm, and joyful spirit. In this course, we’ll introduce the basic rhythm double kick basic and classic movements of Collegiate Shag.

Dancers new to Shag will learn the foundations to get started on the dancefloor, while more experienced dancers will have the chance to explore fun moves and combos to expand their vocabulary and technique. A lively class designed to get everyone moving, smiling, and enjoying the upbeat energy of Shag together.
